The team is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of cancer affecting adults. The team works closely with  various specialists to ensure the care and treatment the patients need, including:

- conventional cancer treatments: chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery;

Patient cases are reviewed by a multidisciplinary board able to make the most appropriate decisions in terms of patients’ treatment. The multidisciplinary team usually includes the following medical professionals: senior consultant in oncology and geriatric oncology, hematologist, specialist nurses in oncology and palliative care, nuclear medicine specialist, radiation therapist, director of oncology, nutritionist. Hospital La Tour has a partnership with University Hospital of Geneva and this gives them the possibility to refer and present patient cases to specialist tumor boards within UHG.
